Why do they hang so low? Do they hang even lower when the ram gets older? That one guy's will be draggin along on the ground behind him, then! lol!

Considering that ram sheep are so much smaller than a human male, I'm so happy that human males don't have man parts as large in comparison to their size. gah!

~LisaLaughing Orca Ranchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03562627840013868980noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9113326581808647426.post-23981042694643260012009-08-15T17:46:29.206-03:002009-08-15T17:46:29.206-03:00Beautiful sheep! In fact, the judge even feels them during the judging. I did not take a picture of that. I think he is checking that they have both...I dunno....maybe you would like to become a sheep judge?Claire MWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02603169881463831299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9113326581808647426.post-11568324934071866252009-08-15T16:16:08.674-03:002009-08-15T16:16:08.674-03:00we wanted to go but 3 hours is soooooooooo far.

Tha...Oh, wow, thanks for the vicarious fair visit! That's one of the things I miss most about my home"town." We had a great county fair, and I enjoyed the livestock areas over everything else. Even competed a few years, with rabbits and my 4H riding club.

We got the book yesterday; thanks so much! Miss Chef thought the Riso book looked really cool, but only had a few minutes to leaf through the two before she had to head off to work (she's pulling, what, a 14-hour shift today? It's crazy!)

So the book I wanted to send to you is Canning & Preserving for Dummies, if you don't already own it. We ended up with 2 copies somehow, and I've found it to have lots of good info. Do ya want it? Drop me a line or a comment and let me know!

I'll be looking forward to Day 2 at the fair. Yay!!Alisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09081652747471904560noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9113326581808647426.post-2316040041151073532009-08-15T13:09:15.048-03:002009-08-15T13:09:15.048-03:00Wow, I haven't been to a fair in so long. That used to keep the fair starting way before school. However, now you can get a waiver by the state if you have valid cause... I wonder what our valid cause was to go back an August 13th? We do have one person who will be calling in "sick" at least a few days next week. She just couldnt resist.Maybe I should follow her lead.Tiffanyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16407516462570665682noreply@blogger.com
