I had a peppermint treat today!

I know, I said in my last post that I was a deprived goat.  Maybe I was having a bad day.  Sometimes,  good things happen.  Like today, for example, a good thing happened!  My lady brought me peppermints!  She went out for supper last week and she brought home the peppermints for me!

I was laying all by myself, in the middle of the yard, doing my best to look pathetic, in the hopes that she might take pity upon me, and it worked!  See, here I am doing my "pity me" look.
Oh wait, it's too far away, I bet you can't see me.  Here's a closer look.  My lady's pictures are taken through the window pane.  They do not show me at my best.
Anyway, I saw her, taking pictures, and I knew there had to be something in it for me...so here I am just starting to get up...
...and coming over to investigate, which of course means that Izzy the cat has to come too.  Her name is really Esmeralda but my lady just calls her Izzy.  In any case, Izzy is always a blur.
Look!!!  A peppermint!  For MEEEEE!!!!!
YUMMY!!!!
I was SO excited that I dropped my peppermint on the ground after chewing a piece out of it.  Fortunately, my lady picked it up off the ground and gave it back to me.  She said it was OK, because it was in the "5 second rule" but I don't know what that means.
I crunched my peppermints well, so that I would have nice fresh goat breath.
Hooray!  I love peppermints, and I love my lady too, even if I don't have a goat castle yet.
Thank you for my peppermints!

Lucky Nickle, you sure have grown up into a beautiful lady goat! Did you do any kissing with that minty breath?

Oh, my chestnut gelding loves them too! I can't even brush my teeth with peppermint toothpaste and go near him without waiting for a while as he'll try to sniff my mouth with his big nostril!

I have never had a peppermint. I will have to talk to the publicist about this

Wow! You really look happy there, Lucky Nickel! My lady laughed at you! She said you were absolutly irresistable. I haven't had a peppermint in a loooong time and now I'm going to demand it, especially since a foot of snow is forecast to fall today! xxxxx ooooo

I knew you weren't really deprived - I'm glad to hear you admit to getting some treats. You do deserve them, after all!! I hope they have peppermints in Can of Duck!!!

What a big smile! I would bring you a peppermint every day, just to see you smile like that!

I will have to take some peppermints out to Sterling and see if he likes them as much as you do!

LN-Your peppermint smile reminds me to stop feeling sad that Darla had to go back to the barn and reminds me of how much fun there is to come! :)
