Oh WOW! A livestock trailer!

If you had asked me a year ago, or maybe even 8 months ago, if I would ever be excited about acquiring a livestock trailer, I probably would have looked at you like you had 2 heads, or at least like you had antennae. Now, here I am, jumping around in my driveway with the pure joy of owning a second-hand livestock trailer. I found this baby on Craig's List, and now it's all mine. I wish it was a more cheerful colour, but that can wait.

I'd like to get the farm name on the side somehow.

The tires are in excellent condition. It is ideal for the Ford Ranger pickup. The spare tire appears to have never been used. There is really nothing wrong with it - no serious rust, no dents, just pure livestock trailer perfection.

It has a neat back door (maybe they all do this, but it's neat to me). You can either open the whole thing, like a regular door...

...or you can slide open one half of it. How cool is that!?

Oh, please try not to look at my nasty, rutted, brown expanse of lawn. It's cold here. Brrrr...

Congrats Claire.....I have this same trailer, mine being red and needs a paint job.
I own this trailer for the wonderful back door. Wouldn't trade it for anything!

Yaaayyy! Now you won't have to put the next rescued donkey (or cow or horse) on your bicycle or in the back seat of your car!

Some gals like expensive jewelry, botox, and boob jobs. Me and my Iowa buddy, we'd love a livestock trailer. :-) That's a good one too, appears to be in excellent shape.

Oh, that is exciting! I'd love to have a trailer, but since we don't even have a truck...

Oh! Now it will be SO EASY for you to put Stuffin, Luna, Tulip, some of those top-knotted chickums and some very pretty fuzzy sheep on that brand new trailer and bring them to live with ME! Goat kisses from Isobelle!

yippee! I've been eyein' these too. (of course, it would be helpful for me to first move out of Chicago and actually to the farm and have livestock other than felines).

That looks like an excellent find!

Wow, very nice trailer Claire! The back slider door is cool. We got a used trailer off Craigslist last summer - which I just love. Now I'm watching for a used tractor with a loader. :-)

Oh that's too great! Reminded me of getting our used trailer. First we got the goats, then Mical built the small barn, then the trailer, then the bigger barn....it's endless.....how one thing leads to another but isn't it grand! The simple things in life are the most enjoyable. Congratulations.....she looks beautiful to me and much more practical than a diamond ring.
