Claire,
thank you so much for stopping by my blog today!! Your snow pictures are absolutely beautiful!! Of course, since I have Nigerian Dwarf goats too, I love the pictures of yours!! If you don't mind, I am going to add you to my blog list so I remember to come to visit you...must be the old age thing, like writing notes to myself:) Enjoy the snow!!

What a beautiful blog! I love all your animals - I just want to give your Nigerian Dwarf goat a big hug, what a sweet face. And your llamas look so personable!
(Thanks, btw, for your nice comment on my blog!) :-)

Thanks for dropping by everyone! Yes, it is cold, but it makes the spring all the more delightful when it arrives, and in the meantime, winter has a stark beauty that I enjoy (although I wish it wasn't quite so long!)

Brrrr...snow! We've had snow already in New Mexico, but it melted the very next day. We're enjoying a very mild winter this year actually.
I went horse-back riding today actually and only had to wear my fleece hoody jacket :)

My fave pics were your beautiful llamas, and your cute goats and precious chickens.
What ever are they pecking at in the snow. lol!

Well, besides the scratch grains which are their usual morning treat, they do actually eat the snow! They seem to be lazy, and instead of going on the long walk (10 feet) to the heated water dish, they eat snow.
